Pioneer children sang as they walked

Why did the pioneers take so long? Google says it should only take 16 days, 18 tops to walk from Nauvoo to SLC.

Big Tires

Saw this driving down the road the other day. These were so wide they were hanging off the sides of the semi!! Now what I'd really like to see is the vehicle these go on...
