Happy 2012! I’ve had a wonderful break at home, and have loved being in Chicago with my family. I spent 14 hours straight working on a paper that had a postmark deadline by today, but I got it to the post office at 2pm! I was so happy to get it in! And don’t worry, I’ve got at least a week before the next one is due.

My New Years Eve wasn’t all lawyering. My mom deemed it “family fun food day,” and made artichoke dip, guacamole, and my favorite, homemade cinnamon rolls! They were soooo good!!

One of my all time favorite things about going home is watching old home videos. As I have the last few times I’ve come home, I spent some time downloading old tapes onto the computer, and this trip’s efforts were quite successful. Here’s an oldie but goodie that I thought was particularly timely. Enjoy!
