I saw Terminator: Salvation today. It was pretty cool. Not having seen the other movies, I am new to the franchise, but I enjoyed it. They had a little intro at the beginning that filled everyone in (so that even if they hadn’t seen the others at all, or in a long time, they could follow the storyline). It was an action movie – lots of explosions, guns, and fighting – so overall pretty cool. Christian Bale played the main character, and used his “angry Batman” voice a lot, but it fit the situations his character was in, so it was ok.
The computer graphics were phenomenal – you would think they actually built these machines for the movie. In the end, I’m glad I saw it in the theaters, because the action/visual/sound/music experience wouldn’t have been the same at home.
