Google Gears

Installed Google Gears today. The install asks you if you want to “restart your browser” – much as many firefox plugins conveniently do, which is great if you want to start using your new functionality right away. However, beware, as the Gears install doesn’t restore your windows/tabs upon re-opening the browser. Kind of annoying if you have multiple browser windows open with other sites that you weren’t ready to close just yet.

UPDATE (7/10/09):
Google Gears (at this point) is also not compatible with Firefox 3.5. Lame.
