As time marches on Americans see more and more of our civil liberties disappearing at an alarming rate.  Dallas is considering becoming the next in a string of cities to make it illegal for teenagers to be out in public during school hours.  The claim is to try to reduce crime, especially burglary, but that end is not worth it if it means that Americans lose their freedom of movement.  Of course, this alienates the 300,000 home schooled children in the Dallas area that would be constantly considered guilty until they can prove their exemption from the law by virtue of their home schooling, as well as make it so much more inconvenient for all teenagers to go on doctor and dentist visits, as well as the occasional day out of school to get other stuff done.
