I have read a lot of articles that mention (whether directly or as an aside) what happened to cause the recent events in the economy, but today I found the most clear (and I think accurate) article yet. While it doesn’t go into detail about the fundamental societal forces that have influenced the mindsets of millions of people and their attitudes toward gratification through debt, it does go through a timeline of the last three years, detailing exactly how one step led to another in the markets to get us to where we are today.
