As you may have noticed, the blog looks a little different, and the address that visited to read this is new too.

I have wanted to register gregisraelsen.com for a long time, so I decided that this summer was as good a time as any to get going on that project. I have enjoyed writing this blog, and plan on continuing to do so.  So, I will continue to have it, but now it is located at postmidnight.gregisraelsen.com.  Eventually I think I will change (or at least modify) the content of gregisraelsen.com to be something else, but for now it will just be my postmidnight blog.

I am using hostgator to host my site(s), which comes highly recommended from friends.  It was fairly easy to sign up and set up – we’ll see how the experience is.  I called the tech support to ask one question, and they were very kind and helpful.  So I like them so far.

I had a little trouble importing the old posts from WordPress – you’ll notice that the last three posts were reposted today – for some reason they exported ok (I looked at the xml file), but there was just some problem importing them.  It’s not a big deal – I just reposted them – but it is a little annoying that it wasn’t completely seamless.

Anyways, hope you continue to enjoy the blog, and don’t forget to bookmark the new site!
